‘He’s no Boycie’ - John Quigley

Some say he is actually not that old, whilst others say that he played in the "Des Nash Era" of Renegades Rugby or maybe even earlier. Others say that he is actually a nice guy off the field, especially with his family. Many will say that he knows more ways to 'encourage' others than any other player/coach.

We are, of course, talking about Tom Healy. The little lad from Cork who, but for politics, could have been where Peter Stringer is now.

With the semi-retirement of Greg Garside (Boycie) due to hip trouble, Healy becomes the longest serving player at the club. Mikey "Chest Rug" Williams may have played in an earlier season, but he went to 'find himself' for a few years, so that does not count

Congratulations Tom!
