Our former Renegade Alex Donkervoet, who departed to the US recently, was diagnosed with testicular cancer. Thankfully it was caught early, has been treated, and he is on the mend.

So on Sunday Nov 8th, which is the morning of the Classic Tent, there is a 5k race being the "XL Catlin Man on the Run 5k" starting at Warwick Academy. A group of plucky Renegades men will be running this race to try to raise sponsorship for cancer awareness and we will present the funds raised to the Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre.

Please make sponsorship pledges here at Crowdwise. The Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre Registered Charity Number is #70 if your company matches charitable contributions.

Sign up for the race is via http://www.racedayworld.com/.

Once we have the runners and riders we will also have a tote as prepared by Conor/Salty.

In further breaking news Alex will be running the race on the day as he and Courtney are visiting the island that weekend and joining us for the shenanigans in the Classic Tent.

So please support this worthy cause generously.

Celebrating Timeless Tom Some say he is actually not that old, whilst others say that he played in the "Des Nash Era" of Renegades Rugby or maybe even earlier.
