Renegades 5 vs. Police 2

Renegades ladies, meanwhile, kept up their three-year dominance of the league with a comfortable 5-2 win over Police courtesy of a Nicola Jones hat-trick, and tries from Karen Peckett and Melissa Field. Mika Tomita scored both of Police's tries.

Domestic rugby now takes a break until January 9 when games will switch to Sundays and move from Malabar to the National Sports Centre.
